Pralay Missile: India efficiently checks short-range, surface-to-surface guided ballistic missile

India at present efficiently check fired the short-range, surface-to-surface guided ballistic missile ‘Pralay’ off the Odisha coast in Balasore, DRDO sources stated.

The solid-fuel, battlefield missile developed by the Defence Analysis Growth Organisation relies on the Prithvi Defence Automobile from the Indian ballistic missile programme.

The missile, launched from the APJ Abdul Kalam Island round 10:30 am, met all of the mission targets, the sources instructed information company Press Belief of India.

“Pralay is a quasi ballistic surface-to-surface missile. The superior missile has been developed in a solution to capable of defeat interceptor missiles. It has the flexibility to alter its path after protecting a sure vary midair,” sources instructed information company ANI.

A battery of monitoring devices monitored its trajectory alongside the coast line, they stated.

‘Pralay’ missile is a 350-500 km short-range, surface-to-surface missile with a payload capability of 500-1,000 kg.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated on Twitter, “Congratulations to the DRDO and related groups for the maiden growth flight trial.”

“My compliments to them for the fast-track growth and profitable launch of recent Floor-to-Floor Quasi Ballistic missile. It’s a vital milestone achieved at present,” he added.
