Video: Congress's DK Shivakumar Refers To Rajiv Gandhi In Selfie Snub

DK Shivakumar’s selfie snub was caught on digicam.

Karnakata Congress chief DK Shivakumar but once more misplaced his calm in public at the moment when a person tried to take a selfie with him. The 58-year-old chief – usually known as the get together’s troubleshooter within the southern state – additionally referred to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s assassination as he snatched the cell phone from the person, drawing criticism.

In the video, an offended Mr Shivakumar may be seen standing within the midst of a crowd in Mandya, about 100 km from the state capital Bengaluru. When the person approaches him, he snatches the telephone as his bodyguards promptly intervene.

The clip drew criticism on social media as many on Twitter questioned the reference to Rajiv Gandhi whereas others stated he shouldn’t have behaved that approach. There have been some who defended him too.

This isn’t the primary time that the Karnataka Congress chief’s aggression has been caught on digicam. 

In July, he slapped a celebration employee who was making an attempt to place his arm across the chief’s shoulders. 

Visibly sick comfy, DK Shivakumar questioned the person’s authority and slapped him.  

In one other incident, throughout an election marketing campaign in Ballari in 2018, he slapped on the hand of one in every of his supporters who wished to take a selfie with him.  

In October, one other video had sparked an issue that confirmed two Karnataka Congress leaders discussing alleged corruption by the Karnataka Congress chief. The clip was posted by the BJP’s Amit Malviya. The Congress chief had denied any corruption allegations at the moment.
