
Cyclone Jawad: 11 groups of the Nationwide Catastrophe Aid Drive have been deployed (Representational)

As Cyclone Jawad is probably going hit to north Andhra Pradesh on Saturday, the state authorities has evacuated over 54,008 individuals from three districts.
The rescue staff has evacuated 15,755 individuals from Srikakulam district, 1,700 from Vizianagaram and 36,553 from Visakhapatnam.
The federal government has arrange 197 reduction camps in faculties and neighborhood halls. 11 groups of the Nationwide Catastrophe Aid Drive (NDRF) have been deployed whereas 5 groups of the State Catastrophe Aid Drive (SDRF) and 6 groups of Coast Guard are in place.
Village secretaries and District collectorates will operate all through the evening.
As many as two helicopters are on standby. Rs one crore has been launched to sort out any unexpected state of affairs.
